GALT, March 26. - The death occurred last night at the hospital after only four days illness of Rev. Thomas Dayton Pink, the popular young pastor of the North Water Street Baptist mission. The news of his death came as a shock to the community. He would have been 23 years of age to-morrow.
He was born in Wales, but came to Canada ten years ago coming to Galt from McMaster University. Toronto. He had been pastor of the local mission for the past three years. Previous to entering the University to study for the ministry he lived in Paris.
The Baptist mission, under the pastorate of Rev. Mr. Pink, made rapid strides and in December last the congregation opened a fine new edifice. By his untiring efforts he won the admiration of all,
Seventeen months ago he was married to Miss Jean Fallis, of Durham, who with an Infant daughter. survives. Thomas Pink, of Galt, of his father.

The death occurred at midnight at the hospital, after only four days', illness, of Rev. Thomas Dayton Pink, pastor of the North Water street Baptist mission. The news of his death came as a great shock to the community and more especially to his parishioners, who greatly mourn the loss they have sustained. He took ill last Sunday and was removed to the hospital. Deceased had he lived until Saturday would have celebrated his 33rd birthday. He was born in Wales and came to Canada ten years ago. He resided in Paris for some time before entering McMaster university at Toronto to prepare for the ministry. He came to Galt before completing his course at the college as a supply, and later when he was ready for a charge was chosen by the people of the Baptist mission as their pastor, which position for the past three years he had ably filled. He was a hard worker, a good speaker and most promising minister and since he took charge, the north end congregation has made rapid progress, last year it being found necessary to a build a new edifice. Not only had he won the esteem of his parishioners by his untiring efforts in their behalf, but he had also the respect of citizens of all denominations. The town as a whole mourns the death of Mr. Pink. He was married seventeen months ago to Miss Jean Fallis, of Durham, Ont., who with an infant daughter survives him., besides his father, Thomas Pink, Main street The funeral will take place Sunday afternoon to Mount View cemetery, with a service at the Baptist mission at 3 o'clock ago.

Death of Rev. Thomas Pink, Young Baptist Minister in Galt Yesterday.
GALT, March 26. Rev. Thomas D. Pink, pastor of the North Water street Baptist Mission, passed away at the hospital at midnight after only four days' illness. He was in his thirty-third year, and was born in Wales, coming to Canada ten years ago. He lived in Paris, Ont., for a while and then entered McMaster University to study for the ministry. For the past three years he had been pastor of the local mission. There survive, his wife, an infant daughter, and his father, Thomas Pink, Westman street.
