Frank Robert Morris, a former resident Luther Village on the Park, Waterloo, passed away peacefully, with his loving wife by his side, at Sunnyside Nursing Home, Kitchener, on Tuesday, January 24, 2012, in his 93rd year. He is survived by his wife, Olive Compagno Morris (nee Paff): two daughters, Sandra and Judy; two grandsons, Nikolaj and Bjorn; one brother, Jack of British Columbia, as well as brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Clare and Jean Brown, Harry and Nina Brown and Norma Brown, as well as nieces and nephews. Frank is predeceased by his parents, Frank and Alice Mae (Wellman) Morris; three brothers, Edward Frank, Thomas and William Ace *Bud*; his first wife, Phyllis; his brother-in-law, Howard Brown. Frank was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1919 and over the years lived in Montreal, Toronto, Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo. He worked for many years as machinist, primarily at Babcock and Wilcox. During World War II, Frank served in the Royal Canadian Air Force, 1942 1945. The hobbies that Frank most enjoyed were woodworking, horseshoes, cycling, baseball and in years slo-pitch with the seniors. His sense of humour endeared him to family and friends. A special thanks to nephew, Oeter Morris, for his many visits and support. The family would also like to say thank you to the staff at Sunnyside Home for their wonderful care. Cremation has taken place and interment in the family in St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery, Winnipeg, will take place in As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated and may be made through the Francis Funeral Home, Box 208, Tavistock, NOB 2RO by calling 519-655-2431.
