  • Notes
    • Mrs. Helen "Becky" Stover, formerly of Rock's Mills (R.R.# 2, Tillsonburg), passed away peacefully, in her 84th year. In her younger years, Becky taught swimming and worked as a lifeguard at the summer camps and later, at the Tillsonburg Community Centre. She was a passionate equestrienne and thoroughly enjoyed horseback riding for much of her life. Becky also loved to read, and was a member of the Tillsonburg Travel Club. Becky and her husband met as students at Wilfred Laurier University, formerly known as Waterloo College. Becky graduated with a B.A. in English and went on to teacher's college. She taught high school English at all grade levels, beginning at Kitchener Collegiate Institute, where she also made an outstanding attempt at coaching girl's basketball with Arn's assistance. She eventually took a teaching position at Annandale High School in Tillsonburg, where she enjoyed a thirty-year career. Despite all her accomplishments, Becky was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother first and foremost. Her beloved family was always her main priority.

Becky was the cherished wife and best friend of the late Arnold (2016), with whom she was blessed to share 57 wonderful years of marriage. She was the dearly loved mother of David (Sue) and Jonathan, and the proud and adored grandmother of two grandchildren. Becky will always be lovingly remembered by her nieces.

She was predeceased by her parents Charles and Helen (née Johnston) Beck.
