- LIEUT. "BILL KUHL
Lieut. Kuhl, a member of the Can adian Infantry Corps, was on loan as a volunteer to the British Army. He went overseas in May, and had been in England about a month before going to France approximately four weeks ago.
Having obtained his sergeant's papers on completion of an N.C.O's course with the Scots Fusiliers reserve unit, Bill enlisted July 31, 1941, serving as an instructor at the former No. 10 Training Centre here, with the rank of lance-corporal.
When the camp was moved to Ipperwash, he was promoted to sergeant and gave advanced training instruction. He received his commission last summer saving completed his officer's training course on the west coast.
Before enlisting he worked at the B. F. Goodrich Rubber Co. of Canada Ltd.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a brother and six sisters: Joan, Vivian, Rita, Laura, Roger, Margarite and Judith, all at home.
