- MRS. CATHERINE CHOPIN
Mrs. Catherine Chopin, 80, Kaukauna, died at the home of her son, William, 525 E. College-ave, at 6 o'clock Monday evening. She is survived by five children, John M. Chopin of Kenoba,Canada, Mrs. Matthew Helf of Old Town, Maine, Miss Anna Chopin of Appleton, Mrs. Frank Berens of Louisville, Ky., and William Chopur: of Appleton.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 110 Thursday morning from her home at 110 Island-st, Kaukauna, and 9 o'clock from Holy Cross church with a requiem high mass. Interment will be in Holy Cross cemetery.

FORMER KAUKAUNAN DIES IN APPLETON
Kaukauna - Mrs. Katherine Chopin, 80, died at the home of her son William at Appleton Monday evening after a long illness. Mrs. Chopin had been a resident of Kaukauna for 53 years. The following children are survivors: John M. Chopin Kenoba, Canada, Mrs. Alice Helf of Oldtown, staine., Miss Anna Chopin of Appleton.
Funeral services were held at 9 o'clock Thursday morning at (Holy Cross church with the Rev. P. J. Lochman in charge. The following members of the Married Ladies society, of which she was a member, were honorary pall bearers: Mrs. John Taeckels, Mrs. Anna McCarty, Mrs. Jacob Lang, Mrs. Henry Minkebige, Mrs. Joseph Faust and Mrs. Forest Banning.
The following men were the active bearers: Jacob Licht, Benjamin Biese, Peter Esler, Peter Bergman, John Van Drasek and Matthew Hahn. Interment was made at Holy Cross cemetery.
