  PRENTICE, Carl\emdash On Monday, Dec. 14, 1998, at his home, in Elmira, Carl Prentice, age 56 years. Beloved husband of Verneda (Axt) Prentice; loving father of Brenda Prentice of Toronto, Brad and Laurie of Kitchener; dear son of Eva Prentice of Mount Forest and the late Gordon Prentice; brother of Jim and Orma of Guelph, Stewart and Jean of Arthur, Agnes and Bill Nicholson of Owen Sound, Ruth and Murray Pope, Gail and Brian MacDermott, Anne and John Grabowski, all of Kitchener. Carl was employed with Valcom Ltd. of Guelph. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, today (Wednesday) from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. At noon on Thursday, transfer will be made to St. James Lutheran Church, Elmira for funeral service at 2 p.m., with Rev. Wendell Grahlman officiating, followed by interment in Elmira Union Cemetery.
