  LEIS, Allan L. -- On Wednesday June 24, 1981, at Stratford General Hospital, Allan L. Leis of the Maples Nursing Home, Tavistock and formerly of RR 2. Wellesley (Nithburg). Mr. Leis was born in Wellesley township 82 years ago. Son of the late Solomon R. Leis and the late Mary Lichty. A member of Maple View Mennonite Church. He farmed at Nithburg, retiring several years ago. Beloved husband of the former Mary Roth of the Pinehaven Nursing Home, Waterloo; dear father of Lavercy of RR 2, New Hamburg, Allen of RR 2, Wellesley, Rev. Arthur of RR 1 New Hamburg, Edgar of Waterloo, Delton of Listowel and Mrs. Lydian Foley of Shakespeare, Lynetta (Mrs. Oscar Musselman) of Baden, Adella (Mrs. Gordon Blain) of Waterloo, Ethel (Mrs. Elmer Zehr) of New Hamburg, Minerva (Mrs. Abner Sauder) of Uxbridge, Mabel (Mrs, Maurice Sauder) of RR 2. Wellesley and Mary (Mrs. Joseph Menich) of RR 2, Wellesley; Brother of Edward of Texas, Harvey of Theslon and Elizabeth (Mrs. Elmer Wagler) of Tavistock, Nancy (Mrs. Joel Reeves) of Kitchener, Katie (Mrs. Edwib Schwartzentruber) of Kitchener and Vanita (Mrs. Melvin Leis) of Guelph. Also survived by 37 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by two sons, Clifford in 1934 and Llewedllyn, June 11, 1981. Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, Wellesley, after 2 p.m. Friday, until noon Sunday, when removal will be made to the Mapleview Mennonite Church for the funeral service at 2: 30. Rev. Jacob Roes will officiate.
