• Notes

  Mrs. Peter Alba Snider of 46 Sims Rd. died June 10 at K-W Hospital after a brief illness. She was 93. The former Eliza Jane Strong, she was born at Millbank, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Strong and had lived in Kitchener for 40 years. Mrs. Snider was a member of Christ the King United Church and the women's association of the church. She was also a charter member of the Women's Association of Bloomingdale United Church and a charter member of the Centreville Women's Institute. Her husband, to whom she was married Nov. 23, 1910 in Waterloo Township, predeceased her May 12, 1955. Surviving are two sons, Harold J. of Bloomingdale and Maurice R. of Kitchener; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of the Robert Strong family. The body was at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where the service was to be conducted today at 2 p.m. by Rev. B.L. Oaten. Burial in Snyder cemetery, Bloomingdale. Elmira Signet 12 Jun 1968 pg 2
