  Mrs. Jemima Knight The death occurred Saturday evening of one of Wellesley township's best known citizens in the person of Mrs. Jemima Knight, mother of Reeve William Knight and widow of Albert Knight. Her death followed an illness of about a week's duration at her home on the Seventh Line near Crosshill. Mrs. Knight was born in 1844 at Dorset, England, and came to this country when only 16 years of age, settling near Crosshill where she had resided ever since. Her husband predeceased her in 1918. She is survived by two sons and two daughters, John Knight of Guelph and William of Crosshill and two daughters Mrs. Geo. L. Walters of Lambeth and Mrs. Arthur Wesley Rennie of London. Mrs. Knight is also survived by two brothers in England, Herbert Lane and William Lane. Two sons Charles and George, predeceased her. There also survive nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Her death is a distinct loss to the community and Boyd Church. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the residence to Boyd Church, interment to follow in Rushe's cemetery. Rev. Moffatt of Weston and Rev. Stewart of Linwood will conduct the services.
