    • ZEHR, David S. -- Suddenly Tuesday, Dec. 6, 1983, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Jantzi, Crosshill, David S. Zehr, of RR 1, Millbank (Crosshill). Mr. Zehr was born in Oxford County, 88 years ago. He was the son of the late Joseph Y. Zehr and the late Barbara Schmidt. He had farmed at Crosshill, retiring in 1950; was a member of the Cedar grove Amish Mennonite Church. Dear father of Norma (Mrs. Allan Erb), of RR 2, Wellesley and Laurene (Mrs. Norman Jantzi), of RR 1, Millbank; dear brother of Aaron Zehr of Lowville N.Y., Amos Zehr of RR 3 Wellesley and Barbara (Mrs. Raymond Nofstier) of Casterland N.Y. Lovingly remembered by 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Magdalena Jantzi, December 23, 1977; by one daughter; Mary in 1922; also by two brothers and one sister. Visitation at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Allan Erb RR 2, Wellesley after 7 p.m., this evening, where the family service will be conducted on Thursday, Dec 8 at 1 p.m., followed by the funeral service at the Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church at 2 p.m. Bishop Arthur Gerber will officiate. interment will follow in the church cemetery.
