  Henry Bickle, 89, of 28 Waterloo St., died today in the K-W Hospital after a brief illness. Born Feb. 7, 1861, in Bruce County, Mr. Bickle was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Bickle. For many years, he was proprietor of a general store at Crosshill. Mr. Bickle was a member of Benton St. Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Canadian Order of Foresters. Besides his widow, the former Emma Buck, whom he married 56 years ago, he is survived by three sons, Dr. Elmer H. of Buffalo; Clarence of Galt; and Melvin of Kitchener; five daughters, Mrs. William (Hattie) Schramm, Haysville; Mrs. Clarence (Bessie) Hilborn, Roseville; Mrs. Harry (Lillian) Christie, London, Ont.; Mrs. Melvin (Pearl) Snyder, Waterloo; and Mrs. Roy (Gladys) Gildner, New Dundee; one sister, Mary Bickle Neustadt; 16 grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.
