  Clayton R. Playford By Record Correspondent ELMIRA, Aug. 3 - Clayton R. Playford, 34 William St., died yesterday after a lengthy illness. He was a garage operator for 13 years, retiring in September, 1945. Mr. Playford was a member of Zion Evangelical United Brethren Church, Elmira, and a member of the Glenrose Lodge No. 628. Surviving are his wife, the former Ella Mae Robertson; one daughter, Mrs. Bruce (Ruth) Price; two sons, Liddell and Robert of Elmira; one sister, Mrs. Austin Gremm of Kitchener, and five grandchildren. The body is at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor. The funeral will be in the Dreisinger chapel Sunday at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Elmira Cemetery with Rev. C.B. Heckendorn officiating. The Masonic order will have a service at the funeral home Saturday night at 7 p.m.
