  Elias Brubacher, "was born October 10th, 1865. He followed the mercantile life for quite a few years. During the past year (1894) he was engaged in the East End Grist Mills, Berlin, in delivering flour and mill feed to their numerous customers. In May, 1895, he left for Didsbury, Alberta, Canada, where he has purchased 160 acres of land and is now engaged in farming. He is not married." Eby, Ezra E. (1895).
