- Mrs. William (Judith) Axt, 62, of Linwood, died yesterday afternoon at the K-W Hospital after a short illness. Daughter of the late Mr. And Mrs. Samuel Holzschuh, she was born on the 13th line of Wellesley Township. She was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Linwood and belonged to the Ladies Aid Society. Surviving are her husband, William Axt; one son, Helmer, Linwood; one daughter, Mrs. Grant (Thelma) Schneider, Linwood; two brothers, August and Edmund Holzschuh, both of Linwood; and one sister, Mrs. William Denstedt of Hesson. Eight grandchildren also survive. One sister, Mrs. William Tabbert, predeceased her last year. Private funeral services will be held Sunday at 2: 30 pm. at her late residence. Memorial service will be held at St. Peter's Lutheran Church and interment will be in the Lutheran Cemetery, Linwood. Rev. W. Goos will officiate. The body is resting at Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, Elmira until tomorrow afternoon.
