  George R. Fleet - by Record Correspondent - Elmira - George R. Fleet of 55 Centre St. died Sunday at K-W Hospital after a brief illness. He was 80. Born Dec. 8, 1887, in Wellesley Township, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Fleet, Sr., and had operated a feed mill in Glen Allan until his retirement in 1947 when he moved to Elmira. Mr. Fleet was a member of Wesley United Church. Surviving are his wife, the former Dora Cookman whom he married in 1911; one son, Ellsworth, Toronto; two daughters, Mrs. Albert (Pearl) Houghton, Toronto, and Mrs. Grant (Shirley) Beggs, Elmira; one brother, John, Palmerston; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was predeceased by three brothers and three sisters. The body is at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor where the service will be conducted in the chapel on Tuesday at 2: 30 pm. Rev. M.E.
