  GRASSER, Harvey-At Heritage House, St. Jacobs, on Wednesday, Feb. 10. 1982, following a brief illness, Harvey Grasser, aged 96 years, formerly of 163 Ottawa St. N., Kitchener. He was a member of Zion United Church and was a member of the Kitchener police department for 42 years, until his retirement in 1950, having served as deputy chief for 22 years and chief the last 2 years. Father of Ted of Kitchener, Vernon of London, Ont.; grandfather of Jane, Terry, Wayne and David. Predeceased by his wife, the former Ella Herner; two brothers and three sisters. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kit- chener, after 7 p.m. this evening. Funeral and committal service in-the-Ratz- Bechtel Chapel on Friday, 3 p.m., with Rev. Fred J. Roberts officiating. Inter- ment Woodland cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made by donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the mission fund of Zion United Church.
