Notes |
- Death of James Hosea
At 7: 30 O'clock last Thursday morning the death of a well-known and highly respected citizen took place at his residence on William Street, Berlin, in the person of James Hosea. His death came with extreme suddenness, the deceased having worked until six o'clock the previous evening and was apparently in the best of health. During the night he became ill and a physician came to his assistance but it was of no avail and he passed away early this morning in the presence of his wife and children. The late Mr. Hosea was in his forty-first year and had been a resident of this town for about fifteen years. He is survived by a widow and one son, Lavern and daughter Violet, besides his father, seven brothers, Robert and Pembroke, Waterloo, John, Plumas Man., Norman, Clover Bar, Ata., Archie Guelph; Oscar Preston, Roy, Elmira, and three sisters,, Mrs. Thos. Foster and Mrs. Geo. Thompson, Linwood, and Mrs. Wm. Terry, Waterloo.
