Notes |
- Roy Hosea, for the past nine years a resident of Kincardine and an employee of the Malcom Furniture Co., died an hour after commencing his work at the factory on Monday after noon. Deceased had not been in the best of health and several weeks ago was confined to the hospital with a mild heart attack. However it was thought when he returned to work that he had improved in health and his passing came as a great shock to his friends and fellow employees. Deceased, who was in his 48th year, was born at Linwood, Ont., a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hosea. For a number of years he followed the profession of embalming and funeral director, but gave this up to the work at wood carving, and at the latter obtained great skill. He was a member of the Elmira I. O. O. F. and Milverton Masonic Lodge. He is survived by five brothers and three sisters. A short service was conducted at Linklater's Funeral Parlors on Tuesday at 12: 30, at which Rev. T. D. McCullough conducted the services. The employees of the Malcom Furniture Co. attended in a body, and following this service the remains were taken to Waterloo and interment will be made Thursday.
