Mrs. Mary Koenig, 70, of Linwood died suddenly at her home Friday night.
Born in Wellesley Township Dec. 3, 1881, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Foerster.
She lived in the Linwood district all her life. Mrs. Koenig attended St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Linwood, and was a member of the Ladies Aid Society.
Surviving are two sons, John and Otto of Linwood; one daughter, Mrs. David (Delphine) Heipel of Baden; two brothers, George of Waterloo and Jacob of Heidelberg; four sisters, Mrs. Fred Knisel and Mrs. David Cook of Lisbon, Mrs. Fred Dahmer of Waterloo and Mrs. George Glebe of Kitchener and three grandchildren.
Her husband, John Koenig, predeceased her in 1936. The body will rest at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, Elmira, until Sunday noon when removal will be made to her home.
A private funeral will be held at her home Monday at 2 p.m. followed by a public memorial service at St. Peter's Church. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery, Linwood, with Rev. Walter Goos officiating.
