- Charles Logel - By Record Correspondent
Linwood, Dec. 11 - Ill for the past three years, Charles Logel died at his residence, three miles west of Linwood, early today in his 67th year. The deceased, a former, was born in Wellesley township in 1871. With the exception of 10 years which he spent in Elmira, Mr. Logel lived his entire life in this district. He was a member of St. Mary's RC church, Linwood, and was married in St. Clements on Sept. 18, 1894, to Louise Brenner.
Surviving are his widow, eight daughters, Mrs. Joseph Haid of Hesson, Mrs. Stanley Keller of New Germany, Mrs. Michael Kocher of Hesson, Mrs. Joseph Moyer of Winterbourne, Mrs. Albert Helm of Waterloo, Mrs. Edgar Merkel of Kitchener, Miss Mary Logel of Waterloo, and Margaret at home, two sons, John of Arthur and Joseph at home, two sisters, Mrs. Fred Starr of Macton, and Mrs. Patrick Doherty of Hesson, three brothers, Frank in Saskatchewan, George of Peel township, and Bert of Macton. One son Alex predeceased him 26 years ago.
Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph's RC church, Macton, on Tuesday morning at 9:30 o'clock with burial to the adjoining cemetery. Rev. V. J. Morgan will officiate.
