  Mrs. R. Cathcart Passes Away Early on Wednesday morning death visited the home of Mr. Robt. Cathcart of Linwood and summoned his beloved wife, Ann Jane Coulter, to the beyond. Mrs. Cathcart was born in Boston, Mass., nearly 83 years ago, but came with her parents, the late James and Anna Coulter, to Wellesley Township and she continued to reside here ever since. She was married in April, 1873. She is surviveed by her sorrowing husband and a family of two daughters and one son, namely Mrs. (Dr.) Carrigan. Vernon, B.C., Mrs. Emerson Boyd, Linwood, and Wesley of Fergus. Mrs. John Beggs, another daughter, predeceased her by three years, and one brother, W. K. Coulee. Ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive, She was a woman greatly beloved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her many estimable qualities. The sympathy of the many friends goes out to the sorrowing husband and family. She had been ill since Christmas but had not been in real robust health for a year or two. The funeral took place from the family residence to Union Cemetery on Friday afternoon. Rev. M. F. Stewart of Knox United Church conducted the services. Waterloo Chronicle 17 Jan 1929 pg 2
