      Aaron B. Jantzi, 73 of Wellesley was found dead in his car at his home Sunday morning, Feb. 23, apparently a victim of carbon monoxide poisoning.

      Born Jan 11, 1896 in Wellesley Township, Mr. Jantzi was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John B. Jantzi. He was a member of Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church, Wellesley.

      Mr. Jantzi farmed in Wellesley Township until his retirement in 1950.

      He is survived by his wife, the former Leah Boshart, whom he married Feb. 16, 1922 in Wellesley Township; a daughter, Mrs. Marcus (Marion) Bender of R.R. 2, Wellesley; a brother, Ezra of Wellesley; a sister, Mrs. Joseph (Violet) Gerber of Millbank, and four grandchildren.

      He was predeceased by one infant son.

      The body was at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, Wellesley, where a family service was conducted at 1: 30 p.m. Wednesday, followed by service at 2 p.m. at Cedar Grove Church. Bishop Samuel Roth officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.

      Wellesley Man Dies Of Monoxide

      Aaron B. Jantzi, 73, Wellesley, was found dead in his car Sunday.

      Coroner Dr. James Christ of Kitchener was called to the scene and said that death was caused by monoxide poisoning. The car was apparently in the Jantzi garage at the time. There will be no inquest held,

      Mr. Jantzi was born in Wellesley Township, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John B Jantzi. He farmed there for many years, retiring in 1950.

      He was a member of Cedar Grave Amish Mennonite Church, Wellesley.

      Surviving are his wife, the former Leah Boshart; a daughter, Mrs Marcus (Marion) Bender, RR 2, Wellesley; a brother, Ezra, Wellesley; a sister, Mrs. Joseph (Violet) Gerber, Millbank; four grandchildren.

      The body is at the Futher Brothers funeral home, Wellesley, where a family service will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m A memorial service will be held at Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
