- Mrs. Frank A. Norman
Mrs. Frank A. Norman of New Hamburg, died after a lengthy illness at the Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital on Tuesday of last week. She was 92.
The former Margaret Dewar, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Dewar, she was born near Wellesley Jan 7, 1877. She was a member of the Holmesville United Church and a former member of the Wellesley Women's Institute. Her husband, to whom she was married in June, 1907, died 14 years ago. Mrs. Norman lived in New Hamburg with her daughter for the past 10 years.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. C.W. (Agnes) Gerber of Toronto and Mrs. Herbert (Ardis) Hinz of New Hamburg; four sons, Thomas Dewar of Goderich, William of Holmesville, Dr. Frank of Parkhill and Bruce of Clinton; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a brother, John of Kitchener; a sister, Mrs. Steven (Annie) Roe of Milverton. She was predeceased by two brothers, James and Adam.
Funeral services were conducted Friday at the Beattie Funeral Home, Clinton, Rev. Dr. A.J Mowat officiating. Burial was in the Clinton cemetery.
