- WELLESLEY - Otto H. Pommer, 66, of RR 2, Wellesley, died Saturday at his home after a five month illness.
Born in Wellesley Township on Oct 18, 1892, Mr. Pommer was a son of the late Charles Pommer and the former Katherine Bivour. He farmed in this district most of his life and was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his wife the former Edna Doersam, whom he married May 10, 1918, in Wellesley, two sons, Sanford of Woodstock, and Arthur, at home; five daughters, Mrs. David (Helen) Eichler, RR 1, Stratford, Mrs. William (Catherine) Becker, RR 2, Petersburg, Mrs. Isidore (Esther) Prince of Kitchener, Mrs. ? (Ruth) Schneider, RR 1, St. Clements and Miss Ruby, at home; two brothers, Herman of Atwood, Julius of Stratford, and 27 grandchildren. Two sisters predeceased him.
The body will be at the Futher Funeral Home, Wellesley until Tuesday at 1: 30 pm when removal will be made to St. Mark's Church for the funeral at 2: 30 pm. Rev. Ralph Huras will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mark's Cemetery, Wellesley.
