    • In Loving Memory Died At Crosshill, Ont., on Thursday, May 20th 1937 Christian A. Kennel Aged 71 years, 9 months and 29 days. The Funeral Will leave his late residence at 1.30 p.m. on Sunday, May 23rd. Services will be held at the Maple View Amish Mennonite church, Third Line, Wellesley. Interment in adjoining cemetery. Father, thou has left us lonely, Sorrow fills our heart to-day, But beyond this vale of sorrow Tears will all be wiped away. Father, thou art sweetly resting, Cold may be this earthly tomb; But the angels sweetly wispered [sic], Come and live with us at home. Father, thou art sweetly resting, On the lovely Saviour breast; Where the wicked cease from troubling, And the weary are at rest. Father, thou art sweetly resting, Here thy toils and cares are o'er; Pain and sickness, death and sorrow never can distress thee more.

      CHRISTIAN A. KENNELL

      CROSSHILL, May 20. Christian A. Kennel, passed away last evening at his home, one mile south of Crosshill, after an illness of one month, at the age of 71. He was married to Barbara Schragg 50 years ago, the two celebrating their anniversary last September.

      Surviving, are his widow, one son, Dan of Victoriaburg, six daughters, Mrs. Sam Lehman, Castor Land, N. Y., Mrs. John Jutzi, Victoriaburg. Mrs. Emanuel Steinman, New Hamburg, Mrs. Sam Erb, Crosshill, Mrs. Irvin Ropt, Detroit, and Mattie at home, one brother, Joseph Kennel, Wellesley, three sisters, Mrs. John Lehman, Groghon, N. Y., Mrs. Peter Yousei, Croghon, N. Y., Mrs. John Bast, Windsor, and 22 grandchildren.
      The funeral will be held from his late residence on Sunday to Maple View Amish church, with burial in the adjoining cemetery.
