    • Kennel, --- Daniel, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Christian Kennel, was born in Wellesley Township June 11, 1891; died Jan. 29, 1953, at his home, Kitchener, Ont.; aged 61 y. 7 m. 18 d. He was united in marriage to Adeline Ropp in March 1920, who survives with one daughter (Eunice-Mrs. Arthur Lichty, Kitchnener, Ont.), 6 sisters (Mattie, and Mrs. Samuel Lehman, Castorland, N. Y.; Mrs. John Jutzi, Kitchener, Ont.; Mrs. Emmanuel Steinman, New Hamburg, Ont.; Mrs. Minetta Erb, Millbank, Ont.; and Mrs. Ervin Ropp, Port Austin, Mich.), and 2 grandchildren. Funeral services were held Feb. 2, at the First Mennonite Church, Kitchener, Ont., in charge of C. F. Derstine and J. H. Hess, with interment in the Kitchener Cemetery.

      Daniel Kennel

      Daniel Kennel, 61 years, of 97 Cameron St. North, died at his residence last night following a lengthy illness. Born in Wellesley Township, June 11, 1891, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Christian Kennel. Mr. Kennel was a member of the First Mennonite Church, Kitchener. He is survived by his wife, the former Adeline Ropp, who he married March 1920, in Emily City, Mich.; one daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Eunice) Lichty of Kitchener; six sisters, Miss Mattie Kennel and Mrs. Samuel Lehman of Castorland, N.Y., Mrs. John Jutzi of Kitchener, Mrs. Emmanuel Steinman of New Hamburg, Mrs. Minetta Erb of Millbank and Mrs. Ervin Ropp of Port Austin, Mich. Two grandchildren also survive. The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until 1 p.m. Monday when removal will be made to the First Mennonite Church for the funeral at 3 p.m. Burial will take place in the adjoining cemetery. Bishop C.F. Derstine, pastor, will officiate
