    • Jacob Eydt - By Record Correspondent - Wellesley - Jacob Eydt, 80, a native of South Easthope Township, died Sunday at Scott Pavilion, Kitchener, where he had been a patient for 13 months. For the past few years, he had lived with his sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Gerth, 62 Regina St. North, Waterloo. Born in South Easthope Township July 25, 1880, he was a son of the late Andrew Eydt and former Wilhelmina Meisner. He was a Lutheran. Mr. Eydt operated a hardware store and plumbing business in Waterford and Cobalt before retiring in 1939. He was single. Surviving are two brothers, George of Waterloo, John of Wellesley; five sisters, Mrs. Alex (Mary) Berg of Wellesley, Mrs. Edward (Isabella) Deering of Phillipsburg, Mrs. Norman (Adeline) Gerth of Waterloo, Mrs. Oliver (Hermina) Heintz and Mrs. Robert (Viola) Quehl, both of Wellesley. The body is at the Futher Funeral Home here where the funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 2 pm; Rev. A. Conrad of Waterloo will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery, Wellesley.
