- WELLESLEY - Mrs. Alex Berg, 76, died Friday (January 5, 1962) in K-W Hospital after a four-week illness. The former Mary Eydt, she was born in East Zorra. She was a daughter of the late Mr. And Mrs. Andrew Eydt. She and her husband farmed at Crosshill until their retirement a few years ago when they moved to Wellesley. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church here. Surviving are her husband, to whom she was married in 1911; three sons, Clayton, Hamilton; Herbert, Waterloo, and Ralph, Crosshill; two brothers, George, Waterloo, and John, Wellesley; four sisters Mrs. Edmund (Isabelle) Doering, Philipsburg; Mrs. Oliver (Hermina) Heinz, Wellesley; Mrs. Norman (Adeline) Gerth, Waterloo, and Mrs. Robert Quehl, Wellesley, and seven grandchildren. The body will be at the Futher Funeral Home until Monday noon when it will be removed to St. Mark's Lutheran Church for service at 2: 30 p.m. with Rev. E.S. Olseon officiating. Burial will be in St. Mark's Cemetery.
