      Funeral service for Mervin Zehr, 34, of RR 1, Milverton who was killed in a car accident Nov. 22, on county road 7 near Millbank was held in Nafziger Amish Mennonite Church,

      Mr. Zehr, son of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Zehr, RR 1, Bamberg, was born in Wellesley Township Aug. 22, 1933. He was a member of the Nafziger Amish Mennonite Church at Poole West.

      He was employed in Elmira, Surviving are his wife, the former Erma Kupfer; five daughters, Marlene, Bernita, Gwendolyn, Patricia, and Brenda, all at home; one brother, Joseph, RR 1, Millbank and one sister, Catharine Zehr, RR 1, Bamberg.

      The body was at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home where a family service was held Saturday at 1 p.m. followed by the memorial service with Bishop Moses Nafzi- ger officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
