- KUEPFER, Mrs. Joseph
Mrs. Joseph Kuepfer, 92, of Peffers died Wednesday, February 4 at the Milverton Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.
The former Lydia Jantzi, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jantzi. She was of the Amish Mennonite faith.
She was predeceased by her husband in 1967, a daughter Katie and three brothers and six sisters.
She is survived by her four sons, Solomon, Millbank; Menno, Atwood; Daniel and Aaron, both of Peffers; 15 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
The body rested at the home of her son Aaron at Peffers and the service was conducted from the home on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. followed by burial in the Seventh Line Amish Mennonite cemetery, Mornington Township. Bishop William Carter officiated.
Pallbearers were Jacob W. Kuepfer, Jacob Steckley, Nick Schmidt, Daniel Albrecht, Sol. Wagler, Noah Kuepfer.
Relatives attended from Tavistock, New Hamburg, Stratford, and Penna.
