    • William John Forler, 71, died suddenly at his home in Galt last week after a lingering illness. He was born in Wellesley and lived there until about ten years ago when he went to Galt.

      He was a dyer by trade, working with the Reiner Woollen Mills in Wellesley for 40 years and with Charles Turnbull Knitting Company in Galt. He was an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, supervisor of the Sunday School and choir leader.

      He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Caroline Meyer, four daughters, Mrs. Arthur Schaff, Petersburg Road, Mrs. Carl Alles, Detroit, Mrs. A. B. White, Toronto, and Ruth at home; one son, Howard, Galt, and 5 grandchildren. A son, Walter, predeceased him 19 years ago.

      Funeral services were held on Sunday from his residence to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wellesley and interment took place in the adjoining cemetery.
