      WELLESLEY, March 27 - Following an illness of about one week, John Daub, elderly resident of this village, passed away at his home here on Wednesday. A stroke was the cause of his death. Mr. Daub was 79 years old. He was born in Wilmot Township, August 24, 1851, son of Andrew and Catherine Daub.

      In 1877 he married Rosina Herber. He was a carpenter by trade and a member of the Lutheran Church, and also a supporter of the Liberal party.

      Besides his wife, one daughter, Anna at home, two brothers, Valentine Daub of Amulroe, Fred Daub, Kitchener, and four sisters, Mrs. Decker, Baden, Mrs. Doersam, Wellesley, Mrs. Leban, Cobourg, and Mrs. Miller, Chicago, survive. Three children predeceased him.

      Died At Wellesley, Ont., on Wednesday, March 25th, 1931 John Daub Aged 79 years and 7 months. The funeral Will be held from his late residence on Sunday, March 29th, at 2 o'clock p.m., and proceed to St. Pauls (Can.) Lutheran church where services will be held. Interment in St. Pauls cemetery. Friends and acquaintances will please accept this intimation.
