  DEWAR, A. Anderson Peacefully, on Friday, Feb. 21, 1992, at his home, Nith View Home, New Hamburg, Archibald Anderson Dewar, formerly of Wellesley. Anderson was born in Wellesley 93 years ago, son of the late Duncan Dewar and the late Catherine McGillawee. He attended Linwood United Church and operated a plumbing and heating business in Wellesley for many years. Lovingly remembered by his wife, Florence Ratz, also of Nith View Home, New Hamburg, beloved father of Grace Houston of Mississauga, Mary and her husband Jack Pentland of Calgary, Carol and her husband John Dixon of Ottawa. Lovingly remembered by 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by one brother, Alexander in 1983 also by two grandsons, Gary and Donald. Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry St. Wellesley where the family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday, Feb. 24 at 2: 30, Rev. M.J. Parr and Rev. Gerald Schwartzentruber will officiate. Spring interment Zion Cemetery, Third Line, Wellesley township.
