    • MRS. JOHN HAMEL

      The death occurred this morning at three o'clock at the family residence, 55 Strange Street, of Mrs. Mary Hamel, widow of the late Mr. John Hamel. The deceased was in her 85th year and death came as the result of a lingering illness. The late Mrs. Hamel was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Wellesley. She was predeceased by her husband 33 years ago and by one son, George, 49 years ago. She is survived by three sons and three daughters, Mr. John Hamel of Wellesley, Miss Emma Hamel of Kitchener, Mr. Jacob Hamel of New Hamburg, Mrs. F. Scott of Stratford, Mr. Albert Hamel, Kitchener, and Mrs. W. Ratz, Kitchener. One brother, Mr. Jacob Hamel, Wilmot Township, and one sister, Mrs. Philip Knechtel, Kitchener, also survive. The funeral will take place Sunday afternoon at tow o'clock with a private service at her late residence, 55 Strange Street, Kitchener, and will proceed thence to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wellesley, for public services. Interment will be made in the Wellesley Lutheran Cemetery. The remains will be at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until Friday at four pm, when they will be removed to the home for the funeral.
