Notes |
- In Dumfries, on Friday last, the 19th inst., Mr. Charles Wilson, farmer, a native of Roxburghshire, Scotland, aged 48 years. The deceased was a man who carried with him through life the hearty esteem and affection of all who know him. No man was more trusted, or proved himself more trustworthy; and during the long period of twenty-six years he had passed in Dumfries, he not only never made an enemy, but secured universal affection for his unassuming demeanor, integrity, candor, and desire to do good
