- Jesse Schwartz, "the eldest in family, was born in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, July 12th, 1807. He was married to Magdalena, daughter of John and Nancy (Erb) Bricker. She was born February 21st, 1812, and died in Breslau, March 20th, 1867. He died January 14th, 1886. Their family consisted of four children"
