    • WILLIAM S. BECKER

      William S. Becker, 92, of RR 2, Elmira, died Monday, Feb. 27, in K-W Hospital after a short illness.

      Born in Germany, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Adam Becker. He came to Canada when 12 years old and farmed near Elmira for the rest of his life. He was a member of St. James' Lutheran Church, Elmira.

      His wife, the former Emilie Herrmann, died in 1953.

      Surviving are one son, William of RR 2, Elmira; two daughters, Cora of RR 2, Elmira, and Mrs. Erma Grosz of Elmira; one sister, Mrs. Dorthea Gail in Germany. One son and one brother predeceased him.

      The body will be at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, until 1 p.m. Thursday, when removal will be made to St. James' Church for service at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in St. James' Cemetery. Rev. H. W. Baetz will officiate.
