  Mrs. Alex Glennie, one of the pioneers of Woolwich T'p, died in Elora last Wednesday aged 83 years. Deceased formerly resided on a farm about 4 miles southeast of Elmira, in Jerusalem section. She was buried on Saturday in the Presbyterian cemetery at Winterbourne. She leaves to mourn her demise 3 sons and 3 daughters one daughter, Annie, (Mrs. Howlett , having died in Manitoba 3 years ago. Those living are George, in Dauphin Lake District, Man., Peter, in Hamilton, John, in Galt, Jessie, (Mrs. Bray) in Portage La Prairie, Man., Mary, in Elora, Lizzie, (Mrs. Laird) near Winnipeg, Man. Deceased was a genial and kind hearted lady, possessing the neighborly characteristic which marked the old pioneers, always willing to sacrifice anything to help others, and was highly respected by all who knew her.
