Notes |
- On Saturday morning there passed peacefully away after a lingering illness, Minnie Stewart, beloved wife of Mr. Allen Good, at the age of 48 years. Deceased had lived here for the past 25 years (since her marriage) and in that time had made many friends, being of a somewhat quiet disposition. She leaves to mourn the loss of a loving wife and mother, her bereaved husband, Gordon, who is serving his country in France, Ethel, Vernon, Vera and Elsie, at home, also her aged father, 2 brothers and 2 sisters, Herbert, of Winnipeg, George, of Lethbridge, Mrs. Sibbly, of Rochester, N. Y., and Mrs. Porter, of Guelph. The funeral was held on Monday afternoon and was followed by a large concourse of relatives and friends who came to pay a last tribute of respect to the deceased. Burial took place at the M. B. C. Cemetery, after which a service was held in the Church, Rev. S. Cressman, Pastor, officiating. The bereaved family has the sympathy of a large circle of friends.
