  Henry H. Dahmer - By Record Correspondent - Conestogo - Henry H. Dahmer, 81, of Conestogo died Sunday at the home of his son, Erwin, in Conestogo, after a lengthy illness. A son of the late Henry Dahmer and Elizabeth Hess, he was born here on Nov. 13, 1875. He was married to Margaret Hobus, who predeceased him in 1939. A daughter, Marie, died in September, 1914. Mr. Dahmer was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church. Surviving are two sons, Erwin of Conestogo and Lloyd of Waterloo; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; five brothers, William, Charles and Frederick of Waterloo; David and Walter of Kitchener, and six sisters, Mrs. Winnie Klaehn, Mrs. Annie Wolfe, Mrs. Maude Yaeck, Mrs. Amelia Grischow of Kitchener, Mrs. Lillie Mohr of New Hamburg and Mrs. Margaret Merkel of Buffalo. Three brothers, George, John and Menno predeceased him. The body is resting at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, until noon Wednesday when removal will be made to St. Matthew's Lutheran church where the funeral will be held at 2: 30 pm. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery, Rev. Gerhardt Becker will officiate. Friends are requested to pay their respects before the service. Unidentified Newspaper Obituary
