      Christian G. Scheifele
      Mr. Christian G. Scheifele of St. Jacobs passed away at his home Wednesday in his 82nd year. He was born in Conestogo. Since his retirement from the farm 20 years ago he has resided with his wife, who was the formerly Armanda Brubacher, in St. Jacobs. He is survived by six sons, Ira of Alma, Mich., Addison, of Kitchener, Wesley, Webster and Elroy, all of Detroit, one daughter Minerva at home, two brothers, Aaron of Conestogo and David of St. Jacobs. Six grandchildren also survive. Private funeral services will be held at the home Thursday afternoon at 1: 30 (E.S.T.), following by a service at the Evangelical church. Interment will take place in Conestogo cemetery.
