    • WIDEMAN, Menno - On Sunday, February 12, 1978, at the home of Elam Bowman of Route 1, Wallenstein, age 91. Father of Manassah and Susannah of Elmira, Mrs. Abram (Magdalena) Metzger of Route 1, St. Clements, Mrs. Elam (Velina) Bowman, Mrs. Sidney (Maryann) Bowman, Mrs. Noah (Elisabeth) Bearinger, all of Route 1, Wallenstein; 28 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren also survive. Predeceased by his wife, the former Elisabeth Bowman, one daughter two brothers and six sisters. Friends called at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, until Tuesday noon, when removal was made to the home of Elam Bowman, Route 1, Wallenstein, where the funeral service was conducted Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. Thence to the South Peel Mennonite Meeting House for further service and burial in the adjoining cemetery.
