ST. JACOBS Gordon P. Ritter, life-long resident of St. Jacobs, died in the K-W Hospital this morning following a short illness. He was 58.
Born on a farm just outside of St. Jacobs, Mr. Ritter was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ritter. He was an employee of the Sunshine Waterloo Company.
He was a member of St. James's Lutheran Church. St. Jacobs. His wife, the former Edna Steiner. survives.
Also surviving are a son. Robert. Wingham, one daughter. Mrs. A. F. Conrad, Ottawa, two brothers, Peter. St. Jacobs: Milton, Kitchener: two sisters. Mrs. Henry (Clara) Stroh. Elmira, and Mrs. Russel (Wilma) Hahn. St. Jacobs.
The body is at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira. The funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 2 pm in St. James Lutheran Church. St. Jacobs, by Rev. Gerhardt Becker Interment will be in St. James's Cemetery.
