Notes |
- It is our sad duty to chronicle the death of another of our residents. On Sunday last death entered the home of Mr. Henry Niebergall, when the wife of the latter passed away. Deceased was born in this county October 11th, 1852. In 1876 she was married to her now bereaved husband. To them were born four daughters, three of whom survive, namely: Mrs. William Dahmer, Elmira, Mrs. Moser, of Berlin, and Amy, at home. Three sisters survive, namely: Mrs. M. L. Weber, St. Jacobs, Mrs. D. Weber, Wallace, and Mrs. M. Heist, of Cassels, Ont. Three brothers also survive, namely: William and Henry Doerbecker, St. Jacobs, and Edward Minneapolis. Mrs. Niebergall was an affectionate wife and mother, who bore her long suffering with Christian fortitude. The remains were laid to rest in the Evangelical church on Wednesday, Revds. Wing, Kaatz and Burn officiating. The funeral was largely attended, many coming from a distance. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the whole community in their loss.
