  Mary P. Martin, "the second daughter of Peter G. Martin, was born April 25th, 1855. On October 5th, 1875, she was married to Menno Reist who died December 10th, 1880. They resided on the farm now possessed by Isaac Hilborn about one mile east of Elmira. She is now home with her father and has one child named Nancy, born July 5th, 1878." Eby, Ezra E. (1895).
