      DEATH OF DILMAN BRUBACHER

The death of Mr Dilman Brubacher occurred on Friday morning at his home about two miles west of St Jacobs. Deceased was 44 years of age. Death was due to an abcess in conjunction with an attack of cholera morbus. Mr. Brubacher was a gentleman of many sterling qualities and his demise will be a decided loss to a very large circle of friends. He leaves a widow and a family of small children who have the sincere sympathy of the community in their sad bereavement. The funeral was held on Sunday to the Old Mennonite Church and burial ground at the East End of Berlin, and was one of the largest seen in Berlin for a long time. Revs E Bowman of Woolwich and J Woollner spoke impressively in English and German respectively from the text "Prepare to meet thy God".
