- Jonathan Sitler, "eldest son of John Sitler, was born June 8th, 1835, and was married, November 15th, 1859, to Mary, daughter of Joseph Kinzie. She was born August 11th, 1838. They resided on the old 'Huber Farm' one mile north of Waterloo, where he died June 29th, 1880."
