  Dies While At Church Service Mr. Ira Martin, Heidelberg, Succumbs While Attending Church Here Mr. Ira Martin, aged 42, Heidelberg Road, died suddenly while attending the Sunday morning service in the Elmira Mennonite church. He had not been feeling well of late, being troubled with his heart and also with asthma. Just before entering the church for the service he is said to have stated to a group of friends with whom he was talking that he did not feel well that morning. When he appeared faint he was carried out of the church and passed away soon after outside. Surviving are his wife, five children: Isaiah, Elvina, Lucinda, Isaac, and Samuel, at home; his mother, two sisters, Mrs. Isaac Martin, Elmira; Susanna, at home and three brothers: Oziah Martin, Elmira; Anos, on the homestead, and Cyrus, of the Jerusalem section. Mr. Martin was born in the Heidelberg district and lived there all his life. The funeral was held on Wednesday morning. Interment was made in Martin's Cemetery, south of St. Jacobs.
