  GARTUNG-THIEL A very interesting event was solemnized at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. Thiel, Weber Street East, at 3 o'clock Wed. afternoon when their daughter Miss Clara became the bride of Rev.. Stanley Gartung of Midville, Nova Scotia, and son of Mrs. M. Gartung, Krug Street, City. The rooms were beautifully decorated with sweet peas and early June blooms and the bride entered the drawing room to the strains of the wedding march played by Miss Marion Willison. Rev. J. Maurer, pastor of the First English Lutheran church officiated. There were no attendants. Following the ceremony a dainty wedding repast was served, the table being centred with the bride's cake and decorated with sweet peas. After the dinner Mr. and Mrs. Gartung left on a wedding trip to Niagara Falls and other points. On their return they will take up their residence in Midville, N.
