  MRS. LOUISE ORTWEIN Mrs. Louise Ortwein, wife of J. B. Ortwein, proprietor of a shoe repair establishment on Rose street, passed away at her home, 732 Avon street, May 4th, 1922. She was born March 27, 1859, in Watertown, Canada. For the past fourteen years she has been a resident of La Crosse. She is survived by her husband, four daughters, the Misses Alice, Edna, Marian and Janet Ortwein, two brothers, Rev. Wm. Berberich, of Kitchener. Canada, and Edward Berberich of Port Huron, Mich. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 p. m. from the house, 732 Avan street, and at 2:30 from the Salzer Memorial church, Rev. J. L. Pauzlau officiating.
